Live dealer experience
I have only played the automated games so far. Are the live dealer ones better? It seems more social but I am afraid it might be too slow. Also, do you have to tip the dealers? I want to try some blackjack with a real person but I don't want to look like a complete newbie who doesn't know the rules. How does the interaction work? Can they see me through the camera or is it just one-way?

Live games are way more immersive than the regular ones. It feels more like being in a real place. You don't have to tip, but some people do. If you are worried about the rules, I suggest doing a bit of reading first. The MaximBet website has some great guides on table etiquette and basic strategies for live play. It helped me feel more confident when I started. It is definitely slower than the software versions, but the interaction makes it much more fun in my opinion. They can't see you, they only see your bets and your chat messages. Give it a try, it's a blast!
