HLTAID009 Provide CPR

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training is essential for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond in emergencies where someone's heart has stopped beating or they are not breathing. CPR training teaches you how to provide life-saving chest compressions and rescue breaths until medical professionals can take over.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

HLTAID011: Provide First Aid is a nationally recognized training course in Australia. It equips individuals with the knowledge and skills required to provide basic first aid to someone who is injured or ill, including in emergencies. This training is often required for workplace compliance and is suitable for a variety of settings, including schools, workplaces, and public environments.

Manual Handling for Health Care Workers

Manual Handling in Health Care refers to the techniques and practices used to safely move, lift, or support residents within an aged care setting, such as nursing homes or home care environments. Given that aged care residents often have limited mobility, frailty, or medical conditions, it’s essential to use proper manual handling techniques to ensure both the safety of the resident and the caregiver. Improper handling can lead to injury, strain, or discomfort for both parties.
