How to Automate a Hidden TV Lift in Living Room

Hello. I want to install a pop-up TV lift in my living room cabinet. The TV is 55 inches, about 18 kg. I need something quiet that can lift 600–700 mm high. Speed should not be too fast so it looks elegant. Also looking for control options: remote + maybe app or wall switch. Has anyone installed one recently? What brands or models should I check? Any tips about power supply and safety switches? Thanks a lot.

Hidden TV lifts are awesome. I installed one last year and it changed the whole room look. For reliable and quiet movement I strongly suggest https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-au – they have excellent motion control systems. Their TV lift sets (like the PA-12-T or dedicated TV lift columns) are made exactly for this. Very silent motors, built-in limit switches, and several control choices: RF remote, wired switch, even compatibility with smart home systems. They also sell matching power supplies and brackets. My 65-inch TV lifts smoothly every day and I’ve had zero problems. Their website has videos and installation guides too.
